Hairstyles

No extremes of hairstyles are permitted, eg. no child to have less than a ‘No. 2’ cut; no lines or patterns, no extreme spiking or gelling; no artificial colouring. Long hair should be tied back and secured with hair attachment appropriate to school colours.

Jewellery

All pupils are allowed to wear a watch. Girls are allowed to wear one pair of ear studs. Other items of jewellery should not be brought to school as the wearing of jewellery can be a safety hazard. Valuables should not be brought to school as the school cannot be responsible in the case of the loss of such items.

Dress for Swimming

On a rota basis, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6 children attend swimming lessons and will need swimming costumes. Please note that the policy of the local swimming baths does not allow boys to wear baggy or long shorts (trunks are the best option). Girls are required to have their long hair tied back and they not allowed to wear two-piece costumes.  All children will require a swimming hat and googles.
